Coats of Quality provided exceptional service for our home’s full exterior painting and minor repair project. After we contacted them, Sumner arrived the same afternoon for a walkthrough and provided a quote just an hour later. The entire crew was hardworking, professional, and courteous throughout the job. Sumner maintained excellent communication, ensuring we were satisfied with the progress and the final results. They were meticulous with their work and left the site perfectly clean. It is clear they take great pride in what they do, and I highly recommend making Coats of Quality your first call for any project, big or small.

Coats of Quality provided full service painting and wood repair — one stop shopping. The crew members were friendly and knowledgeable and sometimes, very funny. The project took a little longer than we’d discussed, but Maine winters can bring surprises. The project was 95% complete when they had to stop for the winter. I was assured that they’d be back to finish in the Spring. To my pleasant surprise Sumner (the Owner) contacted me several times during the winter to assure me that we were their number one priority when it was warm enough to paint outside. When the winter broke and the sky cleared Sumner called me again and his team showed up and finished the project — just like he promised. The work that they performed on our 110+ year old house included cedar shake replacement, rotten fascia repair and complete staining and painting the exterior. All in all we are very pleased with the result. I wish Coats of Quality great success in the future.

Great experience with this crew. Complete exterior re-stain on 40-year-old house; looks better now than it ever did. They were polite and communicated well, making very helpful suggestions that resulted in a much better result than I anticipated. Their experience clearly shows. Hard working and diligent despite some hot humid weather. Showed up on schedule and completed within expected timeframe. Highly recommended!
